The Situation
Our client, a leading global health technology company, operates in over 150 countries. Previously, they faced challenges in managing payroll across different countries, relying on separate service providers for each location.
With HLB’s comprehensive payroll solution, the client can now streamline their payroll operations across the MENA region through a single point of contact. This centralized approach not only simplifies payroll management but also ensures consistency and compliance across all countries in the MENA region.
By partnering with HLB, the client has significantly improved their payroll efficiency and reduced administrative overhead.
Our Approach
Finovate partnered with the company to design a future-ready salesforce, implementing a new reporting structure and an optimized balance of generalists and specialists. The goal was to maximize synergies while minimizing customer impact. This collaborative effort involved several key steps:
Seamless Transition to a Single Provider
The successful implementation of HLB HAMT enabled the client to transition from multiple solution providers to a single, reliable provider, streamlining their payroll processes and reducing complexity.
Significant Time and Cost Savings
By adopting a fully automated payroll solution, the client achieved a 20% reduction in total payroll costs. This automation also resulted in tremendous time savings, allowing the client to focus on core business activities.
Centralized Global Contact Point
With HLB HAMT, the client now benefits from a single global contact point across the enterprise, replacing the need for multiple contacts and ensuring consistent communication and support.
Enhanced Compliance
The solution ensured full compliance with statutory requirements across 16 countries within the EMEA region, mitigating risks and avoiding potential legal issues.
Unified Dashboard for Improved Efficiency
A single, unified dashboard replaced multiple past systems, significantly improving efficiency and transparency. This centralized view allows for better decision-making and streamlined operations.
The Results
Customer orders remained steady during the sales transition, and financial performance in the impacted business units exceeded internal forecasts.
Sales representatives were shifted toward the future-state, guided by the new organization structure, territories, product coverage, and compensation design in both North America and Europe.
The combined company was also on track toward full integration of sales enablement tools, including revised training programs, rationalized sales IT systems and updated sales dashboards and performance metrics.
Identified net synergies for the third year expected to exceed expectations at 1.5 times the initial target.
