Dubai Maritime City (DMC) is a maritime zone to conduct relevant related activities. . It falls under Dubai world group of companies as one of its members. It became fully operational in 2012, while the infrastructure for the industrial quarter of the project was 85% complete in 2009, while groundwork for the commercial fraction was at 65%.
